The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago is currently featuring its Green Revolution exhibit, part of the Museum's annual Black Creativity celebration.Green Revolution explores green technology and innovation and celebrates achievements by African Americans in the green movement.
The exhibit highlights more than 30 individuals with green careers. Among those featured in Green Revolution are: Van Jones, founder of Green for All; Majora Carter, most known as the past director of Sustainable South Bronx; Michael Dorsey, environmental advocate and professor at Dartmouth College; and, Warren Washington, head of the Climate Change Research Section at the National Center for Atmospheric Research.
